manroland to Again Sponsor Dr. Joe Webb's Annual Industry Forecast

CHICAGO—08/25/09—For the seventh year, manroland will again sponsor Dr. Joe Webb’s annual industry forecast at the PRINT 09 show. Free to all show attendees, the event will be held on the morning of Monday, September 14 in rooms S106A/B at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Registration is now open for “Enterpreneurs Welcome: Opportunities in the New Printing Industry”. The one hour seminar begins at 8:30 a.m. with an introduction of Dr. Webb by manroland CEO Vince Lapinski. A free Continental breakfast is available to all attendees in the same room beginning at 8 a.m. With a standing-room only audience for last year’s event, advance registration is suggested.

Show visitors will have other early morning options to consider throughout the duration of PRINT 09. manroland will offer demonstrations on the Roland 700 Di-rectDrive, the fastest short-run makeready press available on the market, at the company’s Print Technology Center in nearby Westmont. The demonstrations also include free transportation to Westmont and PRINT 09. With the program starting at 7:30 a.m. each day, guests will have enough time to see the multi-tasking press in action and ask questions before arriving back at the show prior to the McCormick Place doors opening at 10 a.m.
