manroland Completes Two Major Sheetfed Press Installations

The new press at Stephenson Printing, a Roland 706 HiPrint HS with coater, is equipped with many advanced automated makeready features and is capable of operating at speeds up to 18,000 sheets per hour. It is the first of its kind in North America.

This press was on exhibit at manroland’s Print Technology Center during GRAPH EXPO 2011. It was disassembled, delivered, installed and commissioned by a manroland team at Stephenson Printing in time to take on a massive annual project early in December.
