MAR Graphics Increases Digital Print Capacity with Two Xerox Printers

VALMEYER, IL—November 25, 2013—MAR Graphics recently completed the installation of a 26" Xerox iGen4, and is the first to take advantage of the color precision and speed of the new Xerox Color 8250 production printer. Capitalizing on the growth in variable data and digital color printing, MAR upgraded their fleet of color digital print engines to two new, full-color devices.

MAR Graphics utilizes the larger 14.33x26" sheet size of the 26" iGen4 to more efficiently serve their clients in the direct mail and commercial print markets. The 26" iGen4 also features matte toner and an inline bookletmaker. MAR Graphics uses the 8250 to quickly and cost-effectively produce transactional business documents and direct-mail pieces with spot-on color.

"We generate a high-volume of direct mail and transactional statements that previously utilized a variety of highlight colors," noted Scott Roever, vice president and comptroller, MAR Graphics. "With the 8250 we have the flexibility to reproduce any color our customers require. Business color printing is a critical component of our operation. With the 8250 we can deliver color accuracy and do so competitively."

In addition to the 26" iGen4 and 8250, MAR Graphics operates multiple black-and-white devices, UV half-web presses, UV forms web presses, flexo and inkjet systems, web-finishing lines, lettershop and bindery equipment.
