WALPOLE, Mass. - February 20, 2018 - PrintWorks, a full-service commercial and social printer, recently announced that Cheryl Gilson has purchased the company. Gilson has worked at PrintWorks in Walpole since 1995 in customer service, print production, and most recently, as general manager.
Gilson has a full-range of print industry experience. She received her graphic design start in the Norwood Public School System where she was encouraged by her mentor to explore the field. He saw her special aptitude and high-quality produced materials. He offered her a part-time job assisting him with professional jobs while still a high school student. Although told by a college professor, "This is a predominately male-oriented industry. Don’t bother with it," Gilson has excelled and pursued her passion beyond expectations.
“Owning PrintWorks has been my dream for the past 10 years,” said Gilson. “I am thrilled to be part of the success of the company and look forward to the future.”
Gilson will continue to combine her graphic talent with production know-how, along with her team of seasoned specialists, to provide superior quality print services to PrintWorks' customers.
