Matrix Imaging Solutions Adds Brenva HD Production Inkjet Press
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — July 19, 2017 — Overcome with an increasing influx of work, Matrix Imaging Solutions was in search of a solution that could help them handle the mounting demands of customers all while keeping costs down. The print provider turned to inkjet for the technology and to Xerox for the right inkjet solution. After a thorough search, Matrix added a Xerox Brenva HD Production Inkjet Press to their production family.
“Our choice to go with the Brenva HD press all starts with our 25-year plus history with Xerox,” said Alan Olivero, president and founder, Matrix Imaging Solutions. “We’ve been a Xerox shop for a long time and have developed a deep appreciation for all of the things that Xerox represents, including the people that support it. For 25 years, we have felt that we’ve had a true partner in Xerox and that they’ve had our best interests at heart.”
Headquartered in Sanborn, NY, just outside of Niagara Falls, Matrix Imaging Solutions is dedicated to providing customers with innovative and effective transactional mail, e-solutions and direct mail. As the needs of Matrix’s customer base evolved and expanded into transactional documents, the company’s focus turned to offering more to the transactional document world. In this case, more meant color.
Prior to purchasing the Brenva HD press, Matrix was delivering color options through its line-up of Xerox iGen devices. By adding the Brenva press to their arsenal, color printing on transactional documents is more palatable for the transactional customers that make up a significant amount of Matrix’s customer base.
One of the biggest advantages of Brenva is that it is a cut sheet device that’s about the same size as an iGen. That gives Matrix inkjet speed without adding and storing different paper sources. Olivero says the Brenva is now the company’s favorite printer in its production group.
The Brenva HD press is a production inkjet color device that marries the versatility of cut-sheet with the economics of inkjet. It enables providers to introduce more color into applications, reduce storage costs for offset shells, and consolidate workflows, presses and floor space. The Brenva press is ideal for print providers in the light direct mail, transactional and book markets as well as providers looking to print marketing collateral and business documents.
The Brenva HD Production Inkjet Press will be on display at PRINT 17 in Chicago. Stop by Xerox booth #1302 to see the technology in action.
