MILWAUKEE — March 9, 2017 — Aiming to provide something unique in the industry, MCT Digital has demonstrated that it does not leave customers behind as it introduces software and hardware updates and upgrades to its VersaTech installed base.
When MCT Digital started shipping its VersaTech flatbed cutting systems in 2013, it was a revolutionary product, ONE flatbed solution to offer a 3-in-1 flatbed cutter with Laser, Router and Knife Cutter capabilities with full conveying automation.
Over 3 years later, every customer has had the opportunity to install MCT Digital’s latest VersaTech updates, including its new TigerVision machine control and vision software that provides the world’s easiest to use “cut to print” solution through its single screen operation.
A case in point, is MCT’s recent install in Mexico City. At the time of installation in Q3 2016, MCT was shipping Laser only VersaTech systems with a single aluminized conveyor belt. Recently, MCT improved its conveyor technology with a dual belt configuration (aluminized and traditional mat both) with dual rollers to improve belt life and tracking. As part of our warranty, MCT recently upgraded the system at Magnacrom, as it has done for others, to the new configuration.
According to Eloy Palacios, Owner, “I just wanted to thank you for your response and the new belt configuration. The new methodology looks great and I’m sure this change will significantly improve performance and contribute to the belts longevity.” Palacios also said “I especially like the new panelized construction making it easy to replace a panel if it is required rather than a whole conveyor. MCT’s technicians, Justin and Rob are amazing guys. They know the machine so well that I feel very safe with them. I’m really impressed by their knowledge; they don't doubt for a second performing any type of application on the table.”
Palacios went on to say “Thank you all for the support and I shall be placing an order for a second machine later this year and there is no doubt that it will be an MCT VersaTech system. The support MCT has given me and the personal attention and quick response to problems is what I value the most in a company, besides their excellent products of course.”
MCT Digital continues to improve the VersaTech hardware and machine control firmware and software. All of these updates are provided to our customers free of charge, on a continuing basis, via the internet. In addition, many improvement or features on the VersaTech2 are backward compatible to the VersaTech and can be installed on earlier machines. With the impressive array of new hardware and software improvements on the VersaTech since its introduction MCT has uniquely developed the technology in a way that does not leave existing customers behind. Every system can be upgraded to whatever level of performance they feel they need, even to the next generation VersaTech2.
MCT Digital’s President Nikolai Mikkelsen said “One of our goals is that no customer is left behind as we continue to improve and upgrade our machines.” VersaTech customers can choose to update to TigerVision and the new camera, to the latest new dual conveyor belts system for laser cutting or all the way to a VersaTech2 level and have the industrioes leading speed and performance. “The point is” Mikkelsen said “that any MCT Digital customer has a pathway to the current hardware and software level as the machines we ship today. No machine obsolesces and no one is left behind.”
