Memjet Announces Its Sponsorship of 2016 Inkjet Summit, April 18-20 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.
SAN DIEGO — March 29, 2016 — Memjet, a leading developer of patented inkjet technology, announced today it will be a sponsor of the upcoming Inkjet Summit 2016, taking place April 18-20 at the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. This event brings together industry leaders and suppliers with senior executives of large and midsize printing companies for an interactive discussion on how current and future inkjet production printing technology, software, and solutions will impact printers’ business and investment decisions. Memjet will be at the event with OEM partners SuperWeb Digital and Delphax.
Over the next decade, inkjet printing technology and solutions will prove to be a disruptive force in the graphic arts industry. Forecasts show that total annual Inkjet impressions will account for close to one-third of all digital printing volume worldwide by the end of this year. Yet, for all of this opportunity, many printers don’t fully understand the technology or what it can do for their business.
Bill Brunone, general manager of commercial printing for Memjet will be at the summit. He notes, “Inkjet has brought some exciting new developments to the market, but it can often be difficult for printers to keep pace with what these changes mean for their businesses. That’s why this summit is so important. It’s an opportunity for suppliers to hear about the obstacles print service providers are facing today and to educate these printers on how inkjet-powered solutions can open new roads for the future.”
At Inkjet Summit 2016, Memjet and other industry leaders will demonstrate how inkjet-powered solutions can enable this level of success. The summit will include one-on-one meetings and group discussions among suppliers and printers. These discussions are designed to foster a partnership between print service providers and suppliers that can improve the printers’ businesses.
Memjet will be joined at Inkjet Summit 2016 by OEM partners SuperWeb Digital and Delphax. SuperWeb Digital has incorporated Memjet printhead technology into its WEBJet200D press, and Delphax has built it into its elan 500 press. These types of presses can create new opportunities for printers; for example, they can efficiently produce the type of short-run jobs that lead to new applications such as direct mail, variable data printing, transpromo, and business forms. In addition, these presses can also help printers be more efficient by reducing waste and speeding up production time.
