We Are Family: Menasha Inks Agreement to Acquire Strine
NEENAH, WI—Menasha Packaging announced that it has acquired Strine Printing of York, PA. Both companies are family-owned. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The York Dispatch also reported that Menasha Packaging has no plans to reduce the employee ranks at Strine Printing.
According to Mike Waite, president of Menasha Packaging, "The acquisition of Strine Printing strengthens our graphic packaging, merchandising and fulfillment capabilities and supports our operations on the East Coast. Customers continue to value Menasha Packaging's full range of packaging materials and services and, with Strine, we will continue to respond to this growing demand."
Jim Kotek, president and CEO of Menasha Corp., also noted, "The Strine acquisition is an outstanding strategic fit with Menasha Packaging's focus on providing point-of-sale expertise to targeted customers. The acquisition will allow us to deliver a broader offering to Strine and existing Menasha Packaging customers, and represents a key step in expanding both our market presence and base of customers."
