Merrill Corp. Gets Unwanted Drive-Thru
TEWSKSBURY, MA—A student attending a trade school here plowed her car through the side of the building that housed the school, punching a hole through the wall of a printing company in the process. According to The Boston Globe, the driver's vehicle traveled 100 feet into the first floor, which contains the offices of Merrill Corp.
The car appears to have traveled through the frame of a window, with the concrete base of the area knocked out. The driver, an unidentified woman, was treated for minor injuries. Several other people—in the building at the time of the accident—were treated at a local hospital for exposure to car fumes, according to the newspaper.
The Salter School technical school is on the second floor of the building, which had been closed indefinitely in order to make repairs, The Globe reported.
