Merritt Produces Jumbo Mesh Vinyl Graphic with UV Inks for Jordan’s Furniture
EAST HARTFORD, Conn.—July 24, 2015—Jordan’s Furniture is remodeling the former New Haven Register building on Long Wharf Drive in New Haven, Connecticut. Located close to the I-95 and I-91 interchange, Jordan’s wanted to optimize their reach by advertising to the thousands of daily highway passerby.
In place of the average 'Coming Soon' signage, Jordan’s leased six 40-foot shipping containers and stacked them two-wide by three-high with the intent of branding the space with a mesh graphic. Jordan’s designed a full-color 'coming soon' message and hired Merritt Graphics Big Color of East Hartford, Connecticut, to produce and install the graphics.
Merritt Graphics worked hand in hand with Jordan’s Furniture to manage the project including fabrication and installation of the jumbo mesh graphic. The final size of the graphic is approximately 30 feet high by 96 feet wide. It was produced on mesh vinyl and printed with UV Inks. Two lift trucks were used during installation and the mesh graphic is affixed to the containers with strategically placed anchor hardware and a cabling system.
