MGI Appoints Agfa as a National Distribution Partner for the United States

MELBOURNE, FL—September 29, 2014—MGI Digital Graphic Technology is pleased to announce that Agfa Graphics North America has been appointed as a national distributor for the United States.

Building on a successful partnership that originated with Agfa Switzerland in 2010, closely followed by Agfa branches in Italy, France, Sweden, and Australia, Agfa Graphics North America has been appointed distribution rights for the MGI product line in North America. The alliance between both MGI and Agfa has proven to be a successful one over the years. In 2012, Agfa Switzerland was awarded the “MGI EMEA Distributor of the Year” trophy and in 2013, Agfa Italy was awarded the “MGI EMEA Rising Star” in recognition of a full year’s of sales, including the prestigious Vatican’s Printing House.

MGI will be operating a dual channel distribution model in the United States, with both MGI’s current North American distribution partners and Agfa offering sales and service to the graphic arts market.
