MGI to Sponsor Arts for a Better World in Miami
MELBOURNE, FL—Nov. 30, 2010—MGI Digital Graphic Technology, the multi-substrate digital press and finishing solution manufacturer, will be participating as a sponsor of Arts for a Better World, held Dec. 1-5, 2010 in Miami.
Held during Art Basel Miami Beach, Arts for a Better World—the United States’ premiere art show—is a bold and audacious endeavor to unite a large-scale commercial exhibition with the non-profit community, to convey a compelling message about the role of art in crafting a better world for future generations. More than 40 internationally renowned artists have been selected to participate, hailing from countries such as Argentina, Congo, Cuba, Ecuador, England, France, Haiti, Nigeria, Panama, South Africa, United States, Uruguay and Venezuela, working in mediums including contemporary photography, painting, sculpture and installations.
Arts for a Better World’s charitable partners—Save the Children, American Red Cross, American Cancer Society and Water.org—have come together to exhibit their respective projects under one roof and will share five percent of the event’s total artwork sales.
As a sponsor, MGI Digital Graphic Technology is providing printed materials for on-site use, including VIP & Press badges, press kit folders and printed artwork replicas, among materials.
