Michel Hunkeler Joins Management Board to Reinforce Family Presence
Michel Hunkeler, brother of CEO Stefan Hunkeler, is ready to start his new position on the company's board of management.
WIKON, Switzerland—September 4, 2015—Michel Hunkeler, 44, brother of CEO Stefan Hunkeler, 50, joined the Hunkeler board of management as of August 2015. Michel Hunkeler's appointment is a key element in the family's succession planning. The aim of Hunkeler is to preserve its status as an independent family-managed business in the long term.
In close collaboration with the two longstanding members of the Hunkeler executive management board, Erich Hodel (sales) and Hans Gut (marketing), Michel Hunkeler will take on overall responsibility for marketing and sales. The aim is to continue and build on the excellent sales work, technological market leadership, and powerful market presence of Hunkeler in the future. At the same time, the company's presence towards customers and partners will likewise be strengthened.
