WINONA, MN—Though only about $100 was taken from a petty cash drawer, ransacking vandals left a huge mess and headache for the employees of Winona Printing to handle. Police responded to a 6 a.m. call on May 7 to find doors broken, lockers tipped and various items strewn about the place, according to the Winona Daily News.
Vending machines were damaged in the attack, with candy and chips thrown on the floor, and a coffee machine was also damaged. But, curiously, police said no attempt was made to harvest the money collected inside the machines. The office section of the business was also broken into, with the contents of some desk drawers spilled on the floor. The case is under investigation, the Daily News reported.
