O'Neil Printing, Mohawk Make Things That Matter
PHOENIX—July 30, 2013—"A Declaration of Craft" is printed on Mohawk Superfine, Eggshell, Ultrawhite 80 cover and 24-lb writing. The publication, which serves to document the brand’s core values, features testimonials that are reminiscent of those that appear on O’Neil’s Website, such as “We are dedicated to doing what we know is right, even when it isn’t easy,” or “We believe that great work comes from having pride in the details” and “We believe in something greater than ourselves; in the common cause of community.”
“We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to work with Mohawk,” said Anthony Narducci, president of O’Neil Printing, located in Phoenix. “Mohawk’s core values are in sync with O’Neil’s core values...Make Things That Matter. That is what we do best here at O’Neil. We make things that matter,” noted Narducci.
The Mohawk brochure contains four individual sections detailing Mohawk’s core values (Heritage and Innovation, Mastery of Materials, Pride in the Details, Community of Makers) that are uniquely divided by a four page fold, or Japanese fold, as Pam McGuire, Mohawk’s print production manager, refers to them. These values are also an example of what O’Neil believes makes the difference between a good and an exceptional print product.
O’Neil Printing worked closely with Mohawk on the project to ensure that Mohawk’s vision became a reality: “Mohawk’s new 'Declaration of Craft' publications printed by O’Neil Printing are absolutely beautiful,” relayed McGuire, print production manager, Mohawk. “The bright solids are smooth and vibrant, pewter solids are outstanding, duotones are sharp, crisp, and full of ranges of tone, the bindery is perfect. O’Neil Printing’s thoughtful suggestions, excellent planning and professionalism made the process as enjoyable as it was successful,” McGuire added.
O’Neil Printing was pleased to have the opportunity to print this masterpiece of artistry for Mohawk and pleased to work with a team of professionals to make it an exceptional printed publication:
