Mondi Delivers Commercial Color in Expanded Line of Inkjet Papers at PRINT 13
VIENNA, AUSTRIA—August 12, 2013—Mondi will show PRINT 13 visitors its expanded line of high speed inkjet papers for dye and pigment digital printing systems, filling a quality gap in the North American marketplace. Mondi's international packaging and paper group will reveal the comprehensive portfolio, offering various grades for the growing market. Mondi has developed papers that optimize the capabilities of different high-speed inkjet presses by working closely with Canon, HP, Impika, A Xerox Company, Kodak, Océ, Ricoh and others.
"In the past year, we have expanded Mondi's high-speed inkjet paper portfolio to offer more variety and greater options for businesses and printers," explained Johannes Klumpp, marketing and sales director for Mondi Uncoated Fine Paper. "Current printing demands, with applications that vary from trans-promotional and direct mail to book printing and commercial printing, require a high quality portfolio that offers a wide range of look and feel options, as well as environmental accreditations."
Wide Selection of Options
"We are excited to have the acclaimed Mondi high-speed inkjet paper portfolio now available for printers in North America," shared Daniel Herzka, strategic consulting executive for the Mondi high-speed inkjet program. At booth #458, Mondi will feature its smooth, high-white, recycled, off-white and coated high-speed inkjet papers optimized for both dye and pigment inks. These include DNS high-speed inkjet CF (coated feel), DNS high-speed inkjet NF (natural feel), 100 percent recycled NAUTILUS high-speed inkjet, BIO TOP3 high-speed inkjet and DNS enhanced color inkjet, which is Mondi's first high-speed inkjet paper with a pigment-coated inkjet surface. As a pigmented paper, DNS enhanced color inkjet delivers higher color density, allowing dye inks to reach density levels comparable to pigment ink.
Environmentally-responsible Choices
Mondi's high-speed inkjet papers are part of the company's Green Range of eco-conscious papers. All Mondi Green Range papers are FSC or PEFC certified, 100 percent recycled or bleached TCF (totally chlorine free). With the growing demand for CO2 offsetting within the printing industry, Mondi also offers a CO2 neutral option for all high-speed inkjet papers. Mondi's color laser paper Color Copy is offered CO2 neutral from cradle to shelf.
