The M&R Companies Launch 'Press for a Cure' Campaign to Promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month
The M&R Companies has launched the “Press for a Cure” campaign to promote Breast Cancer Awareness Month for October 2019. Press for a Cure is a donation initiative to raise funds for breast cancer research. Through their partnerships with the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. and Delta Apparel, M&R will be promoting Breast Cancer Awareness Month through the month of October, beginning with an auction on eBay.com for limited-edition pink KRUZER Manual Screen Printing Presses. 100% of the proceeds of the sale of the presses will benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. (NBCF)
The auctions will be held throughout October, which will culminate with a pink KRUZER on display at the PRINTING United Expo in Dallas from Oct. 23–25, 2019 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. The KRUZER will then be shipped to the highest bidder directly from PRINTING United.
M&R will also be selling screen-printed breast cancer awareness garments at PRINTING United, with 100% of the proceeds of the garment sales to benefit the NBCF. 1,500 t-shirts have been generously donated to M&R by Delta Apparel.
“M&R is proud to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation with the Press for a Cure initiative,” said Peter Walsh, Executive Vice President at M&R. “Our hopes are to raise awareness and a considerable donation for important research and development.”
Press for a Cure will be supported with a website, social media posts on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, industry-wide emails, printed banners, signage and literature through Oct. 31, 2019. The website for Press for a Cure is https://www.mrprint.com/press-for-a-cure.
