Muller Martini Launches a New Services Label
HAUPPAUGE, NY—07/06/2010—To help customers utilize the full potential of their machines, Muller Martini is standardizing its service range under the new MMServices label, presented the first time at Ipex. The key feature of the seven-module service package is the new MMRemote online connection, which cuts the costs for downtimes, maintenance and service work.
The ready availability of machines, efficient production, secure processes and individually customizable end products are all requirements necessary to allow the graphic arts industry long-term success. Bruno Müller, CEO of Muller Martini, explains: “We want to provide more targeted support for our customers, so that they can make full use of their machines’ and systems’ potential. We want to take advantage of opportunities as they present themselves and maximize the efficiency, and therefore the profitability, of systems by means of customer-specific optimization programs.”
As a result, Muller Martini is standardizing its services, offering the new seven module MMServices, which was recently launched at Ipex and will be introduced throughout the world in the upcoming months. Each MMServices module can be used individually or combined with one another. Said Mr. Müller, “Alongside our reliable on-site service is our comprehensive spare parts delivery service and our proven training program for machine operators, MMServices ensures that your investment in our machines meets your expectations throughout their service life – or even exceeds them.”
MMService Module
MMStartup: Experienced specialists plan and manage projects – not only for new investments, but also when operations are restructured or expanded. Service professionals ensure that commissioning is executed rapidly and that process reliability is maintained from the very beginning.
MMRepair: Even the best equipment can fail; therefore, highly qualified service engineers are on hand to provide fast, professional assistance – by phone, remote service or on-site. Original spare parts ensure uninterrupted, high-quality production.
MMRemote: Often with printing presses and in finishing, which is one of the very last production steps, every minute counts. Muller Martini’s customers now have a direct line to the manufacturer all times. They can choose from three modules that can be combined and expanded flexibly according to their individual needs: MMHelp (24/7 support), MMRemote Access (online analysis, 24/7 support) and MMRemote Online (teleconference, webcam, online analysis, 24/7 support).
MMUptodate: Regular updates extend the life span of the machines and ensure that they remain productive for many years. Thanks to all Muller Martini equipment having a modular design, machines can be retrofitted or expanded in line when new business models or market changes. A retrofit pays for itself very quickly.
MMInspect: The Muller Martini preventive inspection service keeps equipment in top condition provides complete security in terms of production continuity and also reduces operating costs. Experts analyze the systems and report problem areas and improvement potential to the customer.
