Muller Martini (Booth N343) launched a new SigmaLine Compact digital solution to meet the needs of the 20" digital printing market.
The new system features touchless production driven by the company’s Connex workflow for seamless imposition of PDFs. Changeover on the fly means folding schemes can change in less than 10 seconds without operator intervention, and the 40 sqm footprint delivers high layout flexibility. “The press keeps printing, and the binding keeps going without manual adjustments,” says Bruno Muller, CEO of Muller Martini.
Printers with smaller presses need better quality in finishing, says Muller, and the new SigmaLine will deliver high performance and production efficiency, low waste, and environmentally sustainable operation that will lead to higher profitability.
Muller Martini announced an early installation of the SigmaLine Compact at Friesens Corp., a large book manufacturer in Canada. Full market launch is planned for late 2023 or early 2024, according to the company.
