Manugraph to Add Two M360 Towers to Murray (KY) Ledger & Times' Existing Goss Community Press
ELIZABETHVILLE, PA—October 15, 2014—Manugraph Americas announced today the sale of its second M360 order in the United States to the Murray Ledger & Times in Murray, KY. Scheduled for January 2015 delivery, Manugraph will install two M360 4-high towers to The Ledger's existing Goss Community press. This order closely follows the 20-unit M360 order recently installed at Paxton Media’s High Point Enterprise facility in North Carolina.
“The Paxton order was a complete press where we could demonstrate our folders, autopasters and our M360 printing units. In Murray we are able to demonstrate the integration capabilities of the M360 tower to Community type presses,” said Ron Ehrhardt, vice president of sales for Manugraph Americas.
The Manugraph India manufactured M360 is fully compatible to the existing Community press with compatible plate and blanket lockups, seamless mechanical and electrical integration, in addition to upgraded features such as brush dampening, pneumatic actuation and motorized registration control.
Manugraph installation technicians will remove 3-floor units, relocate an existing Community 4-high tower to the left of the folder and install the two new M360 4-high towers to the right of the folder. In addition to the new M360 towers the order also includes a rebuilt roll stand, modifications to the existing upper former and the installation of a new MDGM Digital Motion Control press drive and rebuilt drive motor.
“This order fully demonstrates the various capabilities we have from our Manugraph DGM factory in Pennsylvania. With new equipment sales of Manugraph and DGM press equipment, digital press drives, equipment rebuilding, press removals and installations, spare parts and service, we bring to the North American market a full range of products and services that are second to none,” added Ehrhardt.
