HardingPoorman Acquires Business from Nationwide
INDIANAPOLIS—HardingPoorman Group has purchased Saint Clair Press from Houston-based Nationwide Graphics. Saint Clair was part of the five-company package that comprised Premier Graphics, obtained at a bankruptcy auction by Nationwide. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Indianapolis Business News quoted HardingPoorman President David Harding as saying that roughly 25 of the 45 Saint Clair employees will remain with the company. They, along with Saint Clair's offset operations, will be merged into HardingPoorman's headquarters in Park 100. The Saint Clair building in downtown Indianapolis will remain under control of Nationwide Graphics but will be sold, according to the paper.
The HardingPoorman Group consists of SPG Graphics, Ropkey Graphics, Full Court Press and Discom Technologies. Saint Clair produces annual reports, brochures, product literature and magazines, as well as retail products such as jigsaw puzzles, games, posters and greeting cards.
