Neff Packaging Solutions Installs First Prinect Image Control Next Generation from Heidelberg
“The new version of Prinect Image Control already has sparked strong interest in the capabilities that support our new business initiatives,” he continued, “with several customers moving to minimize press checks because we now can show them a document summarizing our process.”
New Tools for G7 Qualification
The latest generation of Prinect Image Control represents the further evolution of a color measurement device that was already ahead of its time. Fully integrated with the prepress workflow, it is the only viable system that measures and controls color based on the entire printed image, including multi-line color bars and MiniSpots in a single, 20-second scan of the sheet. Measured values are evaluated and used to automatically deliver accurate follow-up decisions to the press, providing online color control for all printing units simultaneously.
The completely new system increases resolution for spectral image measurement from 12-200 dpi, and greatly minimizes the spot size used to capture image data from the sheet. The system uses state-of-the-art L.E.D. and spectral technologies, and incorporates unique new features designed specifically for printers adopting G7 methods and printing to ISO standards.
The sophisticated, yet easy-to-use system is the ideal tool for measuring color and controlling the press, as well as a complete color management solution for generating ICC profiles and applying print standards. The platform connects with up to four presses. When deployed with Heidelberg’s Prinect Color Toolbox and Saphira inks, there is no better way for printers to satisfy the consistency and high-quality demands of their customers. If you operate Heidelberg presses, and if G7 Master Printer Qualification is your goal, Heidelberg can help with all your optimization, calibration and standardization projects.
