Nela Buys New Company Building in Western Wisconsin

OAKDALE, MN /RIVER FALLS, WI—August 18, 2009—Nela is very excited to announce the purchase of their new company building in Western Wisconsin. Just celebrating their 9th US anniversary, the German-owned company is taking a significant step towards a long term commitment to the North & South American market by buying a large building they are able to call their own.

The new building has 60,000 sq.ft. of which 50,000 sq.ft. are manufacturing floor space. The other 10,000 sq.ft. house Nela ’s sales, marketing, accounting, engineering and technical field service. The five-year-old building is located in River Falls, WI, just a short 10 miles drive from the Minnesota border.

River Falls has a population of 13,000 and is home to the University of Wisconsin—River Falls Campus and the Chippewa Valley Technical College. Furthermore it is home to a thriving business community. Besides that is known for its many recreational opportunities and is hosting the Kansas City Chief for their summer training camp.

The move out of the location in Oakdale, where the company was located the past six years, will be finished by the end of this week. Nela anticipates very little interruption of business.
