OKLAHOMA CITY—The addition of a new press at Quad/Graphics' plant here has bolstered the nine-year-old shop and will create 120 jobs, according to the Oklahoman. Gov. Mary Fallin pressed the "start" button on the new machine, the 12th press to be installed at this 1 million-square-foot facility.
The facility opened in 2003 with 100 employees and two presses, the newspaper reported, noting it has grown to house more than 600 workers. The press, a Goss Sunday 4000 single-web gapless machine, has already created more than two dozen new jobs and Quad has as many as 120 full- and part-time openings to fill.
