Océ Again Dominates Continuous Feed Market
The InfoTrends report on the continuous feed printer segment includes monochrome, spot color, and process color print engines. Océ has held the top spot in the continuous feed segment since 2003, the first year that InfoTrends began tracking market share for this segment. The latest InfoTrends research demonstrates continued strong growth, with Océ market share in the U.S. increasing by eight percent in 2008. Océ dominated this segment with 57.5 percent market share of all continuous feed engines sold, over four times more than its closest competitor, and 72.1 percent market share of monochrome and spot color engines.
