Standard Finishing Announces New Product Installations

ANDOVER, MA—March 11, 2013—Standard Finishing Systems, a leading supplier of postpress and paper handling solutions for the graphic arts and print on demand markets, announces the following new product installations:

SpringDot of Cincinnati recently added a new Standard Horizon VAC-1000 collator and ST-40 inline stacker to its full-service printing and finishing operation. Featuring a patented rotary-pulse vacuum feed system, providing flawless feeding on virtually any stock, at speeds up to 9,900 sets per hour. “The new VAC towers and inline stacker will enable us to meet the stringent production requirements of several key customers with speed and accuracy,” according to COO Rick Autzen. The ST-40 inline stacker also incorporates an innovative error rejection system and eliminates the need to roll away heavy finishing accessories which can be both time-consuming and detrimental to the production process.
