Pacific Printing Obtains Premier Color Graphics
FRESNO, CA—Pacific Printing has purchased Premier Color Graphics of Visalia, CA, a deal that includes satellite sales offices in the California towns of Tulare, Porterville and Reedley. The companies were slated to combine on Nov. 1 and will do business under the Premier name. All 27 employees of Premier will be offered the opportunity to remain with the company.
Wayne Yada, owner of Premier, will remain with the company during a six-month transition period, the Visalia Times-Delta reported. Yada told the newspaper that the two companies had been in negotiations for nearly a year.
Pacific Printing President and CEO, Brad Stiers, said the deal represents the first in a round of acquisitions the company has planned. Seven other companies remain on Stiers' radar screen, the newspaper reported.
Pacific Printing was founded in 1955 and has facilities in Fresno and Monterey. It employed 35 workers prior to the acquisition.
