Newsweb Signs Letter of Intent with TKS for Jetleader 1500 Press

PLANO, TX—June 4, 2013—Newsweb Corp. and TKS signed a letter of intent for Newsweb’s second Jetleader 1500 digital inkjet press to compliment and run in parallel with its existing Jetleader 1500 which went into production last October. Included in the bill of material are the new sectioning accumulator unit, new variable cutoff folder and variable data printing for both presses. Main specifications for both presses include:

Variable data printing

“Now that we have actual experience with this press and technology we know in much more detail how digital inkjet can supplement an offset operation,” said Rodd Winscott, president of Newsweb’s printing division. “We have the ability to procure new business that was not available before, including small run titles.
