Océ and Objectif Lune Strengthen Partnership to Help Customers Succeed with Variable Data Opportunities
TRUMBULL, CT—October 7, 2009—Océ, an international leader in digital document management and delivery, today announced that Océ has certified Objectif Lune’s PrintShop Mail software for use with new Océ color and monochrome production cut-sheet solutions. The certification includes the Océ VarioPrint 4000 and Océ VarioPrint 6000 Ultra monochrome production lines, and the Océ CS655 and CS665 Pro systems for color cut-sheet production.
With this certification, PrintShop Mail software is compliant with the full portfolio of Océ production cut-sheet systems. In addition, the certification includes the Océ VarioPrint 6000 family, Océ VarioPrint 2090/2100/2110 (Prémia Class) printers, and Océ CPS800 and Océ CPS900 Prémia color printers. As a result, Océ customers benefit from a complete selection of variable data printing resources, along with streamlined workflow and integrated finishing options.
“Océ cut-sheet production brings users flexibility, efficiency and effectiveness for shorter run variable data printing applications. When print providers combine these capabilities with the ease of PrintShop Mail software from Objectif Lune, they gain a productive, integrated approach to variable data applications. We’re pleased to partner with Objectif Lune to bring our customers a solution to help them capture new opportunities in variable data printing,” said Eric de Goeijen, Vice President, Marketing, Océ North America Production Printing Systems division.
Integrated Approach to Variable Data Printing
The certification allows for an integrated approach resulting in more efficient, easy variable data printing applications. Personalization using targeted variable data is often enhanced by the use of color. Workflow proceeds uninterrupted and gets messaging to market fast with reliable, Océ production printers.
The productivity is reinforced by the Océ PRISMAsync™ controller platform available on the Océ VarioPrint 4000 series, Océ VarioPrint 6000 Ultra line and Océ CS665 Pro and Océ CS655 Pro systems. The Océ PRISMAsync controller platform enables a uniform, integrated workflow across the Océ production cut-sheet portfolio.
