Océ Showcases Project Velocity with Memjet Technology at SGIA Expo 2012

Memjet delivers an entirely new category of technology that makes possible high-quality color printing at never-before seen speeds and affordability. Memjet does this by putting more than 70,000 ink nozzles on a single printhead—17 times the density of traditional inkjet printheads. Memjet’s printhead is 8.7˝ wide. The design allows Memjet-powered printers to deliver more than 700 million drops of ink per second on a page. Memjet wide format technology combines five Memjet printheads to operate as one, firing more than 3 billion drops of ink per second.
