OKI Data Reinforces Position with New OEM Partnership

OKI Data Corporation is excited to announce a direct OEM partnership that will continue sales and support of OKI Digital Transfer printers and consumables for North, Central and South American markets. The OKI Pro9541WT and Pro8432WT printers will be relaunched with a new brand name in late Spring 2021, additional product announcements are planned for later in the year. The new brand will continue to be “Powered by OKI Technology” offering the same white toner technology and decorating versatility that has made OKI one of the most recognized names in the market today. The new brand will be unveiled in late Spring 2021.

For distribution, sales and support, Imaging Supplies Warehouse (ISW) will continue as master distributor of the new brand, as well as legacy OKI parts and consumables. OKI and ISW are working closely to ensure a smooth transition and rollout of the newly branded models. This will ensure there is no disruption in the supply chain to our network of leading resellers and their customers.

With this partnership, our resellers and OKI printer owners will also see an increase in support resources with digital and physical assets that will elevate the user experience using OKI white toner technology.

Key Points to Remember:

1. OKI will continue to manufacture and supply genuine parts and consumables (toner, imaging drums, fusers, etc) through our authorized distribution partners for years to come.
2. OKI will fully honor all product warranties that have been, or are sold, with OKI Digital Transfer printers. Remember, OKI warranties include onsite technical assistance that goes above and beyond competing brands who require you to ship your printer in for service.
3. OKI continues to manufacture the Pro9541WT, Pro8432WT and C711WT and will be delivering these models to our dealers through the Spring of 2021, when the rebranded models with “Powered by OKI Technology” launches to replace the existing brand in name alone.

This strategic move will allow OKI Data Corporation to focus on the continued development of game-changing digital transfer technology that will be distributed through OEM branded printers today, tomorrow and the future.
