Wisconsin's AmeriPrint Graphics Closes its Doors
MENASHA, WI—AmeriPrint Graphics went out of business Sept. 10 after 18 years, leaving 20 people out of work, the Post-Crescent reported. The owners, Wayne and Beth Nemecek, cited a variety of reasons behind the decision, and had not planned to close the shop when they did.
The Nemeceks have suffered a number of setbacks. On Aug. 12, they lost a $342,240 judgement stemming from a civil suit filed by JPMorgan Chase Bank. The funds were spent on equipment, according to Wayne Nemecek. Eight days later, the couple filed for personal bankruptcy. Frequently, they had to cover payroll via their own personal savings.
"We've been married 28 years," Wayne Nemecek told the paper. "We just start over."
The company provided commercial printing, binding and finishing, among other services.
