
After 81 years in Chicago’s South Loop - once a hotbed for printers - Ed Rossini was seeking a new home for Palmer Printing up until recently.
ST. PAUL, Minn.- June 19, 2018 - The Vomela Companies of St. Paul, Minn., announced it has completed the acquisition of the assets of Palmer Printing of Chicago. The acquired company will roll its operations into Elk Grove Graphics, a Vomela network company based in the Chicago suburb of Elk Grove Village.
Palmer Printing, a full-service print and multi-channel marketing provider specializing in printing, online storefronts, campaign management, direct mail, and fulfillment, has operated in the Chicago area for more than 80 years.
“Palmer Printing’s capabilities align well with Elk Grove Graphics,” said Mark Auth, President and CEO of The Vomela Companies. “Our nationwide footprint provides Palmer Printing’s customers with expanded services and product offerings.”
The Vomela Companies, which recently celebrated its 70th year in business, are a full-service specialty graphics provider capable of producing a wide variety of promotional, store décor, event, fleet, commercial, and transportation graphics. Since being acquired by the Auth family in 1990, Vomela has grown from $3 million to approximately $300 million in annual revenues. The company employs more than 1,300 people in 24 cities across the U.S. and Canada.
