Continuous-feed Inkjet: Paper Plays a Starring 'Roll'
Jason Rider, worldwide manager, CiPress Business, at Xerox, points out that, as a result, the CiPress does not require premium-priced, inkjet treated papers to achieve high-quality output. The first beta site was dmh Marketing Partners in Iowa almost two years ago, and the first commercial installation was in the third quarter of 2012. Rider adds that there are now CiPress installations in five European countries, plus the U.S. and Canada. Market-Intell estimates that the total installed base is in the range of 10 to 15.
