“The printing press is either the greatest blessing or the greatest curse of modern times...” this broadside quips. Ironically, the piece indirectly suggests that the same might be said of all the various laminates and coatings that papers offer today. Don’t get me wrong – I love a good paper treatment as much as the next person. But this 8-x-10 inch print provides a much greater treat for the fingertips than any textured finishes you’re likely to encounter.

What’s the secret? Real Posh Cashmere fabric from House of Endi duplex laminated to Flurry cotton paper from Boxcar Press. That sensual cashmere feel makes this sheet completely unputdownable – so much better than even Soft Touch, if you ask me.
Based on a similar piece that Boxcar Press created as a crowdfunding perk for funding the creation of its Flurry cotton paper line, they created THIS print especially for PaperSpecs VIP members, who receive a number of rare, hard-to-find print pieces in each quarterly VIP Box. [There’s a quarterly VIP Box?!!]
Produced by Bella Figura, it features the witty saying I mentioned earlier attractively rendered in Black foil – except for the Platinum foil used for the words “printing press” – all designed by Elizabeth Harden of Hardink Calligraphy. On the back are the production credits digitally printed so as not to bruise or otherwise mar the fabric.
The combination of finger-pleasingly soft flurry cotton paper on the back and that ultra-lush cashmere fabric on the front transforms an already attractive print into a truly multi-sensory experience.
