Paris Business Products Celebrates 45th Anniversary
WESTAMPTON, NJ—April 13, 2009—Paris Business Products, a leading paper products converter and printer, celebrates its 45th anniversary on April 12, 2009. Established as a continuous forms producer with a single press in 1964, Paris has since become an industry leader in the paper and office products industry.
Continued expansion of Paris operations and customer base has led to the development of new manufacturing and distribution facilities in New Jersey, Texas, Florida, Nevada, and most recently, Chicago. These facilities demonstrate Paris' commitment to providing customers with the best products, services, and delivery options, from coast to coast. Paris commercial papers and custom forms are marketed to paper merchants, forms distributors, and office supply dealers, while Paris consumer products are offered in more than 50,000 retail locations.
Over the years Paris has been an innovator of laser printer paper (Laser 3, now named PrintWorks Professional®), security paper (DocuGard® checks & security papers) and specialty printer and computer papers (PrintWorks®). Paris also specializes in the design and production of custom forms to meet customer requests.
“This anniversary marks a special time for our business. While the economy presents many challenges within our marketplace, Paris has been able to maintain its success by abiding by the same fundamental practices and sound business principles established during the 1960s by Dominic Toscani, my father and company founder – exceptional customer service, innovative products, and an efficient distribution model. We don’t expect to change those practices or principles any time soon,” says Gerry Toscani, CEO of Paris.
Paris partners with several leading suppliers within the paper industry. Strong relationships with the major paper mills and OEMs like HP and Kodak have increased Paris’ ability to expand its product offerings. These consumer product lines include inkjet, photo and specialty papers. In addition to the core paper product lines, Paris offers complimentary items, such as Doc It organizers, folders and binders to store and protect documents and media.
Paris also offers two primary lines to its commercial customers. PrintWorks Professional includes punched and perfed cut sheets, continuous papers, and jumbo laser rolls. PrintWorks Professional replaces the Laser 3 brand name that was created in 1991.
The DocuGard line offers businesses a choice of high-quality security papers and checks. In addition to its full line of security products, DocuGard’s premier protection prescription paper currently provides 10 security features, meeting and exceeding all requirements set by the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS).
Environmental issues are a top priority for Paris Business Products, which is CoC (Chain of Custody) certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and the SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative). Elementree® is Paris’ new program focused on helping to protect the environment. The Elementree logo can be found on many Paris products, including those made using renewable fiber, recycled fiber and/or lower-impact manufacturing processes.
