Postal Center International (PCI) today announced the official opening of its state-of-the-art Weston corporate headquarters and fully integrated production facility. The 234,000-sq.-ft. facility located in the Weston Business Center is now home to more than 250 associates and is the culmination of a year-long effort that included the build-out of the facility, a detailed process mapping workflow and a series of critical investments, including but not limited to, best-in-class equipment, market-leading software and client service enhancements – all designed to provide greater capacity, redundancy, integration and efficiency.
The new headquarters consolidates PCI’s two companies into one centralized operation; provides the company with a presence close to many of South Florida’s large corporations, clinics and auto retailers in the Weston community; and improves access to many of its enterprise clients throughout South Florida and beyond. The Class A office, warehouse and distribution facility originally developed between 1999 and 2000, is climate-controlled and offers ±30,000 sq. ft. of office space, 30-foot clear heights, 32 dock-high doors, two oversized drive-in ramps, 296 parking spaces, a state-of-the-art, three-tier backup generator system, a fenced and secured loading area and an Early Suppression, Fast Response (ESFR) fire safety system.
“Our new corporate headquarters builds on our legacy of operating vigor that we have cultivated over the past 35 years,” said Ismael Diaz, president, Postal Center International. “The move comes on the heels of our milestone anniversary, and while we are very much looking ahead, we remain relentlessly focused on delivering our hallmark services while strengthening our position as a technology leader in the print, mail and marketing industry. The move has also laid a foundation for new growth, while creating an environment that inspires passion, collaboration and innovation for years to come.”
Beyond this, the new facility provides PCI with increased associate engagement and extended community outreach efforts in the tri-county area, key components of the company’s multi-year strategic plan.
Grand Opening + Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
The Grand Opening + Ribbon Cutting event was attended by more than 120 clients from across a broad spectrum of industries. On the agenda, Co-Founders Susan and Arturo Echarte provided a brief history on the founding of the company while President Ismael Diaz shared forward-looking remarks regarding the future of the print, mail, and marketing leader. Broward County Commissioner Dr. Barbara Sharief and City of Weston Commissioner Tom Kallman were also on hand to help cut the ribbon and present Mr. Diaz with proclamations recognizing the event and designating Thursday, Oct. 24, as “Postal Center International Day.”
New Headquarters Complemented by New Corporate Branding + Enhanced Client-focused Website
The new corporate headquarters is outfitted in the company’s brand color, a Powerhouse navy blue. It also features an iconic illuminated lobby sign that features the company’s chevron from its new logo, along with other environmental branding produced by its in-house Sign division. The new logo, introduced alongside the move, articulates the Company’s united forward-moving direction and builds off the company’s commitment to moving client initiatives forward – in one direction, as one company, keeping the brand at the forefront of the industry and community. Validating the company’s unwavering commitment to delivering the highest quality, PCI was recently ranked number 1on the South Florida Business Journal’s “Top Commercial Printers” list. In the same vain, the company recently launched its new website, which was designed to feature a sleek and modern look, user-intuitive navigation and enhanced content that connects prospects and clients to company news, tools and resources. The website also has a new URL – PCIbrands.com – that better reflects the company’s growing family of brands that together will provide increased solutions and deeper competitive advantages for PCI clients.
