In the early 1960s, Frank Peczuh Sr. recognized that the world of print as he knew it was changing. Having started his career more than a dozen years earlier, he was trained and practiced in the world of lead type, letterpress, and the art of printing. As things do, change was in the wind, even in the coal fields of eastern Utah. Offset was the technology to build a print future on, and he recognized it.
Our company was started based upon his willingness to use different tools to deliver printed products for an evolving and refining consumer and founded on a desire to continue to serve and be relevant in an ever-changing marketplace. Peczuh Printing was the result of his vision. The delivery of printed materials is what we do and our “why” for existing.
In updating our name to reflect who we are, we honor his memory and the tradition he established in us of adapting to circumstances to best serve our community, customers, and industry. Our new name, Peczuh Printing & Paperbox, reflects our traditional commercial roots, while embracing a future that includes our growing presence in the manufacture of folding cartons.
