“These six individuals cover the range of professional experience, education, areas of expertise, and, of course, age,” said Larry Kroll, vice president, development, PGSF. “I am especially pleased with the selection and appointment of the three youngest members of the group; Justin Green, Bill Michael, and Joseph Schember. The fact that they are former PGSF Scholarship Recipients makes it extra special to have them on our board of directors.
“In this era of consistent change—economic, technological and social—it is an outstanding opportunity for PGSF to have this young innovative talent on our Board to provide creativity and insight into what lies ahead for the industry and the student scholars who will become the graphic industry leaders of tomorrow,” Kroll added.
Comprised of 20 members, the PGSF board of directors has approved $380,000 to be awarded for scholarships in the 2013–2014 academic years. Individuals, companies, and associations provide both annual and endowed scholarship funds to PGSF, which administers the scholarship and fellowship programs for the industry.
