The association grew from 125 members when Tepper joined the staff, to more than 500 at its peak in the late ’90s. It has slimmed down to the current membership of 350+ as the industry has contracted in recent years.
On April 1, 2012, Tepper will assume the title of president emeritus and Charles Parker, former owner of Odyssey Press, will assume the full-time role of president. Tepper will work with the new chief executive over the ensuing months effecting a transition aimed at providing continuous services and support to the membership.
