Pitney Bowes Cloud-Based Shipping Solution Adds USPS Postage

Pitney Bowes announced that its SendPro cloud-based shipping and mailing solution is now able to supply USPS postage for mailing, according to a press release. The online platform provides various shipping options, including overnighting, from USPS, UPS and other major carriers.

The idea is to streamline workflow by making SendPro a one-stop-shop for every shipping need. Customers can manage multiple shipments, while comparing services and prices, and tracking existing shipments.

“According to the recently published Pitney Bowes Parcel Shipping Index, parcel volume is expected to grow by 20% between now and 2018," said Mark Shearer, executive VP and president, Pitney Bowes Global SMB Solutions, in the press release. "With that growth comes increasing complexity across multiple carriers with different rate structures, service levels, and tracking and billing processes."
