NASHVILLE, TN—Pitney Bowes chose Music City and the 2010 National Postal Forum (NPF) for the backdrop of its most recent release, the Connect+ Customer Communication Series.
The print and mail solutions provider invited roughly a dozen industry journalists to the sprawling Gaylord Opryland Hotel in April for the official unveiling of the new product, which essentially allows mailers to print high-resolution graphics and messages in color or black on the outside of the envelope. Connect+, which boasts a Web- and application-based software architecture, uses HP inkjet technology at 1,200 dpi to apply promotional messages across the tops of envelopes in the form of text, logos or photos in color or black.
