ITASCA, Ill.—December 15, 2015—Platinum Converting announced the installation of the Heiber & Schroder WP Speedliner 600 machine in its Itasca, Illinois, 120,000-square-foot facility. Heiber & Schroder is a market leader in window patching and this additional machine expands the company’s capabilities to better service a growing demand.
“We have seen an increase in demand for window patching and have outgrown our current equipment. The WPS 600 offers precise and durable cutting, with outstanding window positioning,” commented Karl Gray, vice president, operations, at Platinum Converting.
Gray cites the key advantages of the machine to include short setup times and high processing performance. “The ability to see what’s inside a package or envelope is critical to the success of a piece. Our goal is to provide customers with a clear view to their product, regardless of the complexity or size of the run. This machine will allow us to meet the critical deadlines our customers demand. At Platinum Converting, we continue to seek ways to provide the market with high quality services and solutions.”
The new windowing machine was installed and running on Dec. 1, 2015.
