PODi Issues Call for Digital Print Case Study Entries
ROCHESTER, NY—May 6, 2009—PODi, the Digital Printing Initiative, announces the call for entries for the Digital Print Case Study Collection. Every year, dozens of the most innovative examples of digital print from around the globe are chosen for this prestigious compilation. As part of PODi’s continuing effort to help service providers boost exposure in the marketplace and expand their businesses, this competition is open to all – PODi members and non-members. Published case study submitters will also receive PODi’s new Self Promotion Package, and will be entered in the annual contest for the influential PODi Best Practices Awards.
PODi case studies are an effective, free way for companies to establish themselves as digital print experts and raise their company profiles in the industry. “The case studies built our company’s reputation and drove new business for us,” says Christopher DeSantis, president of RI Communications Group. RI Communications Group has had four case studies published by PODi and three have received a PODi Best Practices Award.
To help marketing and print service providers leverage their success and increase their visibility, PODi has developed a new Self Promotion Package which will be awarded to all companies with published case studies. The package includes a press release featuring the company to be sent to their local media by PODi, sample announcement copy, graphic icons for use in emails and on Web sites, and a press release template for the company’s own use. Published companies will be invited to participate in the case study display at PODi’s annual AppForum, an event attended by hundreds of industry leaders.
In addition, companies with published case studies will receive access to PODi’s highly acclaimed Response Rate Report to use as an incentive in their own self promotional efforts. Marketers and potential clients find this report’s guidelines invaluable for estimating response rates when developing relevant and personalized marketing campaigns. Service providers can boost response rates in lead generation programs by motivating customers with this report.
Case studies may be submitted for any program or campaign than involves the use of digital printing, including print-on-demand books, direct mail, collateral, Web to print, transpromo, and more. There are no entry fees or limits on the number of applications that can be entered. In addition, all accepted submissions will compete for the annual Best Practices Awards. Case studies are judged by a panel of industry experts. Winners receive free registration to the PODi AppForum and are invited to present their success stories to an international audience.
Entries must be submitted before June 30, 2009 in order to be published before the end of the year. To submit a digital print success story, go to http://www.podi.org/casestudy/bpsubmission/index.php.
