HUDSON, NH—June 15, 2007—Presstek, Inc. (Nasdaq: PRST), the leading manufacturer and marketer of digital offset printing business solutions, today announced that Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Todd Chambers has been appointed to the National Association of Quick Printers (NAQP) Board of Governors.
NAQP provides quick and small commercial printers with the knowledge, tools and resources for success and improved profitability. The organization, founded in 1975, has more than 1,000 members, and Chambers joins the 12-member Board of Governors.
“Todd’s direct marketing expertise and 20-plus years of experience in the technology sector make him an excellent addition to NAQP’s Board of Governors,” said Steve Johnson, president and CEO of NAQP. “We look forward to working with him and to extending our relationship with Presstek.”
“I am excited by this appointment and eager to work with NAQP members on the critical issues facing this dynamic sector of the commercial printing market,” Chambers said. “Presstek traditionally has enjoyed a great relationship with NAQP as an association sponsor and an active participant in NAQP events. Presstek’s customers have successfully leveraged digital offset printing solutions to grow their businesses, and we are eager to share our collective knowledge to help NAQP members further succeed in this exciting and rapidly changing market.”
NAQP members are looking to meet the demands of the short-run color print market – the fastest growing segment of the print market according to InfoTrends data. This segment, with run lengths between 250 and 10,000 copies, is particularly well-suited for Presstek’s DI press and chemistry-free CTP solutions.
