Earlier this year in Boca Raton, FL, Canon launched the Océ Colorado 1640, a 64" roll-to-roll printer designed to deliver exceptional productivity for high quality indoor and outdoor graphics. Integral to the Colorado is Canon’s UVgel technology, which, as you know, allows the ink to instantly gel on contact with media.
In addition to the Colorado, attendees will also hear updates about a variety of Canon’s devices, including the 2016 MUST SEE ’EMS award-winning Océ VarioPrint i300 with ColorGrip, as the company makes advancements in expanding the range of media inkjet customers can now use. The Océ Arizona 6100 Series UV flatbed printer will also be on-hand to display its ability to print photo-quality images on virtually any type of media, no matter how unconventional—making it a perfect fit for the vibrant minds of those in graphic arts.
As attendees walk through the booth, it will be evident that Canon is expanding its graphic arts capabilities with the latest
offerings from its imagePRESS, ProStream, ColorStream, and varioPRINT iSeries line-ups. These devices offer graphic artists with production solutions to help produce stunning graphic arts work, such as books, magazines and brochures, and high-quality direct marketing materials. Also featured in the booth will be a gallery of output samples from a wide variety of Canon devices, as well as the North American debut of superb print samples from the latest ProStream model.
