MetalFX Technology showcased its product that enables hundreds of metallic colors to be printed in one run of a press, using only one spot ink, the MetalFX Base Silver. It was printed live at the show exclusively by Heidelberg.

In other consumable developments, Kompac, a division of Day International, released its new line of fountain control systems. The systems offer variable reservoir capacity, refrigerated or non-refrigerated models, and work in a large variety of press configurations. The units feature corrosion-resistant pumps with AC motors.
