CHICAGO—The Windy City will soon get a lot breezier when the onslaught of printing-related equipment heats up at the McCormick Place Complex September 9 through 15 during PRINT 05 and CONVERTING 05.
The event, produced by the Graphic Arts Show Co. (GASC), is being billed as the largest showcase of commercial printing, package printing and converting equipment in the world this year. Online registration for the international exhibition is available by visiting the show's Website, www.PRINT05.com.
More than 80,000 visitors are expected to flood the McCormick Place Complex during the week-long print festival. Approximately 800 vendors will gobble up a lion's share of the 750,000 square feet of exhibit space.
In addition to a plethora of opportunities to augment your shop floor with the latest in iron and techno-goodies, the show offers an unparalleled educational opportunity, with 80-plus seminars covering more than a dozen topics, and three lunch sessions that will take broader looks at the industry.
The always-popular Executive Outlook conference, which takes place September 8, provides a topical perspective of the issues impacting the graphic arts/printing communities. This year's theme is "Creating FuturePrint Through Innovation and Technology." The theme reflects technological innovations and the rapidly evolving technology landscape.
The Mailing & Fulfillment Center is back for a third year. It will offer the latest in mailing and mail production-related equipment, supplies and software.
Other special interest areas include exhibits related to wide-format imaging, the bindery and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags.
In addition to registration information, visitors to www.PRINT05.com can also access information concerning lodging and transportation choices.
