PRINT 13 Debuts New "Sidelines" Pavilion Featuring Expanded Revenue Stream Products
RESTON, VA—March 18, 2013—PRINT 13 not only attracts printers who broker specialty printing and ad specialties but it also draws distributors, brokers, marketers, and other graphic communications professionals who deal in these products. The debuting new "Sidelines" pavilion will be the home base for these expanded revenue stream offerings at PRINT 13 coming September 8-12, 2013 to Chicago's McCormick Place.
Sponsored by Print + Promo Magazine, Sidelines will showcase the wide range of specialty products that can enhance print providers' revenue and help build their bottom line.
"One encounters specialty printing every day, from hotel key cards to labels to ad specialties," says GASC President Ralph Nappi. "Producing or outsourcing these items offers printers and other graphic communications professionals an opportunity to build sales, serve customer needs, and grow profits."
Among the vast variety of ad specialties and specialty printed products are tickets, tags, labels, plastic cards, stickers, specialty envelopes, decals, awards, apparel, games, drink ware, writing instruments, mouse pads, key chains, sports items, textiles, luggage tags, trade show handouts and much, much more. According to industry research, 90 percent of consumers currently own a promotional product they received in the last 24 months and 89 percent can recall the advertiser featured on the product.
Sidelines joins a host of debuting new and "re-imagined" show floor attractions at PRINT 13 including: DELIVER—The NEW Mailing & Fulfillment Center, sponsored by United States Postal Service (USPS) and Association of Marketing Service Providers (AMSP), formerly MFSA; Photo Finish—The Photo Imaging Pavilion, sponsored by Photo Imaging News and SPI Convention & Shoot-Out; and, BIG—The NEW Wide Format Pavilion, sponsored by the International Sign Association (ISA).
These innovative new show floor attractions join familiar favorites including the popular Marketing Pavilion, sponsored by the Chicago American Marketing Association and Canvas Magazine, plus these eight other special interest sections on the show floor: News Print—the newspaper pavilion, sponsored by News & Tech, a dedicated show floor section for newspaper printers and production executives; The In-Plant Place sponsored by IPMA; Future Print, sponsored by Flex Tech Alliance, featuring today's hottest technologies including Printed Electronics, 3-D printing and RFID; GREENspace, a showcase on sustainability and eco-friendly products and services; the Prepress/Software: Workflow & Design and Press/Finishing sections; the Printerverse, sponsored by PrintMediaCentr; and, Education Main Street, for attendees seeking well-educated, talented industry newcomers to augment their company's workforce.
