Mark E. Schoenborn has joined Visual Systems, in Milwaukee, as a sales representative. Schoenborn is based out of Chicago. He comes to the company from Victor Graphics, where he served as a sales representative.
Women in Production has announced the five recipients of this year's Luminaire Award. The individuals are: Barry Meinerth, senior vice president of production and fulfillment, Time Inc., AOL Time Warner; Brad Mintz, vice president and manager of graphic services, McCann-Erickson New York; Betty Ewens-Quadracci, president and publisher, Milwaukee Magazine and president, Quad/Creative; Frank Stillo, chairman and CEO, Sandy Alexander; and Wanda Ziembinski, production director, Hachette Filipacchi Media. This year, a special Luminaire Award was presented to Rick Boyko, chief creative officer at Ogilvy & Mather New York. Boyko represents more than 100 volunteers who participated in the creation of Brotherhood, a pictorial tribute to the firefighters and firehouses of the city of New York.
